Using the very best local produce an extensive menu is always available offering everything from traditional pub classics to seasonal signature dishes. You will see why this pub is so popular with the locals who travel from far afield to enjoy the live music in the beer garden during the summer and the roaring log fires to sit around in the winter. Polgooth is a quiet settlement on the outskirts of St Austell, frequented by visitors enjoying the area's countryside. Just 3 miles from the sea, the village is close to several beaches, and the south-west coastal path also runs close by. The area has a host of visitor attractions, with the Eden Project, the Lost Gardens of Heligan and the Tall Ships Harbour at Charlestown all within a 15 minute drive.

) local shop is a walkable distance and really well stocked but the property has some essentials to start you off! owners are really knowledgeable and happy to point you in the right direction for eateries and days out. Overall a really really lovely place to stay.
