About this property

This stylish high-spec bungalow is sited in a secluded position next to the owner’s residence, in the village of Sticker, three miles from the Cornish Riviera coast. Presented to an excellent standard with stylish and modern interior furnishings, the property will have immense appeal to those keen to explore the region and enjoy days on the beach and outdoor activities. An open plan living space has a comfortable sitting area furnished with soft brown leather sofas arranged around a contemporary woodburning stove. There is an attractive dining area with smart kitchen to the side. Both bedrooms equipped with indulgently comfortable mattresses share a large bathroom with bath and separate shower. A hidden courtyard garden is a special feature and will offer security for parents and dog owners. From your front door enjoy scenic walks in peaceful countryside and nearby Pentewan Valley offers riverside and traffic free woodland trails, that can be explored on foot or on two wheels, cycle hire is available and there are some super picnicking areas en-route. For families there is a play park 200 yards from the property, and indoor activities including Kidzworld can be found in nearby St Austell, 3 miles. The village pub/restaurant and convenience store are within a short walk and the beaches of Porthpean and Pentewan are within a 15 minute drive. The cathedral city of Truro and popular coastal resort of Fowey are both within a 10 mile radius.

A delightful and much sought-after coastal village of stone cottages and Regency houses, on the south coast near St. Austell. Famous for its collection of tall ships riding at anchor in the harbour, the shipwreck museum, excellent pubs and restaurants and easy access to the coastal path, it’s the perfect holiday destination. It has even been used as a filming location, most well known for appearing in Poldark. The area is rich in golf courses with Carlyon Bay and Porthpean close by.

I loved the totally enclosed garden for which my escape artist mini dog was safe. Owners very friendly & helpful.

Everything you could need was there and it was bright and comfortable. My only small point was the bed was smaller than we are used to ie.kingsize. But we were very happy at Suntrap.

Beautifully presented, and furnished to a very high standard throughout. The kitchen is equipped with everything you could possibly need (I always take decent scissors, can opener, veg peeler etc with me, but didn't even get them out of the bag). We were all (including Missy our 11 month old puppy) made welcome from the moment we arrived. Extra touches like the cream tea provided by the owners, and welcome treats for Missy, really made this a week we will never forget. We highly recommend having a meal at the village pub (a few minutes walk away), staff are very friendly, the food is reasonably priced, and, beautifully cooked. There's a village shop opposite the pub, but we found this a bit pricey. However, there are several major supermarkets locally, meaning we were able to get everything we needed for our stay very easily. Plenty of visitor attractions nearby, many of which are very dog friendly. We visited a couple of local beaches Par Sands & Porthpean (some restrictions are in place during the summer months at Porthpean) both were beautiful, clean, and dogs friendly. Par Sands was our go to beach, unlike Porthpean it's dog friendly all year round, with no restrictions on when dogs can use it. Par Sands is easy to access, off a main road and has ample parking even on busy days. The only problem we had with this location was, trying to pay for parking, which was only accessible through the Ringo app, which incorporates what they call a convenience charge (20p) for using the service and charges for texts to confirm you've paid etc (50p in total, additional charges, for using the service and text confirmations). Thank you for a truly memorable holiday that we didn't want to end!
