About this property

Tintagel 0.7 miles. This delightfully spacious timber lodge is situated in the quiet Bossiney Bay Holiday Park, on the outskirts of Bossiney, less than a mile from Tintagel. This lodge boasts a luxurious hot tub and wonderful countryside views which is ideal for a peaceful, relaxing holiday that will tick all the boxes. There is a coastal path a short stroll away which takes you to the cliffs above the pretty cove. Nestled on the spectacular rugged North Cornwall coast, between the famous old fishing village of Boscastle and the historic castle village of Tintagel, steeped in myths, legends and mystery this is the ideal location for both touring and relaxing in this very special area. Arriving at the lodge you will immediately be taken by the stunning views that surround you. The lodge's home-from-home feel will be appreciated, and it exudes throughout with the relaxing open plan living area and two well-furnished bedrooms, with the double benefiting from an en-suite. Outside, a lovely decked area is a great place to relax whilst taking in those fantastic views as you relax in the bubbling hot tub. Bossiney Beach is one to enjoy as the tide goes out, revealing a long stretch of golden sand, with a descent along the cliff path. Walkers will delight in one of the most romantic stretches of a truly inspiring coastline, now preserved by the National Trust. Certainly not easy walking, but at the same time very rewarding, this part of the world-famous South West Coastal path is as good as it gets. Tintagel is less than a mile away and offers a choice of pubs, restaurants and cafes which will offer a selection of menus to suit all tastes. With the entire North Coast waiting to be explored, with stunning beaches and beautiful coves as well as tiny villages, this is the ideal location for a great Cornish holiday at any time of year.

Tintagel, home of the legendary King Arthur’s Castle, whose ruins dominate the cliffside just outside the village, is a popular but not overcrowded tourist destination. The surrounding area is dominated by the sea, rocky coves and stunning scenery. Several beaches, including nearby Trebarwith Strand and Bossiney Cove, are within easy reach and surfing is the main attraction for those who love the water.
