Tintagel 1 mile. With delightful views over the millstream to the gardens and woods beyond, this cosy cottage with its ornate entrance way, was once part of Halgabron Corn Mill. Walk through the woods, savour the surroundings or just sit in the garden. The atmosphere is intoxicating. The perfect base for a restful holiday in a beautiful part of Cornwall. Furnished to a good standard, the owner lives in the adjoining cottage. Note: This property can be booked with Refs. 980, 982 and 983, together they sleep 13.
Home to the ruins of what is believed to be the legendary King Arthur's castle, the town of Tintagel is a popular holiday resort. Dominated by the stunning coastline, this area boasts numerous sandy beaches, rugged coves and breathtaking inland scenery. With Trebarwith Strand close by, water sports enthusiasts can enjoy excellent surfing opportunities, whilst for those who prefer dry land the town of Tintagel itself is home to a variety of pubs and restaurants as well as the National Trust property 'The Old Post Office'. Running through the town and winding its way along the cliff top is the SW Coast Path, which covers routes along the sea front as well as through dramatic countryside. Also in the region is the wonderful village of Boscastle, which boasts a quaint quay and plenty of village pubs.

It is nice having a fully functional kitchen where you donât need to rely on takeaway. The host is very nice and takes a lot of care maintaining the beautiful property.

The cottage was spotlessly clean, very warm (we stayed in October), had a great shower, solid fast WiFi, great kitchen, good parking, comfy beds and great location. The garden with the river running through is absolutely stunning, it was great to have breakfast, dinner or a cup of tea at the table whilst watching and listening to the river with the window open. The waterfall at St Nectans Glenn, which you can access via a path out the back garden, is well worth a visit. The river walk up to it from the cottage is great. On the other side of the road from Mill Cottage you can walk down the river on a public footpath to the Rocky Valley which is stunning and then also puts you onto the SW Coast Path which you can then either walk to Boscastle or Tintagel which are great walks. Will definitely stay again here in the future, amazing place.

Its clean and quite well equipped in a lovely peaceful setting and the owner is very nice. I do think the check in is a little late. Perhaps 4pm would be better.
