Positive: comfortable, well equipped, in a very peaceful location Could improve: 1) address several outstanding maintenance issues (e.g. shower head in one of the bathrooms does not stay in position; thermostats on some radiators don't work) 2) put some sharp fruit knives in the kitchen

The house is amazing, set back into the countryside the drive is across some windy roads but the house is brilliant. Large kitchen and enough seating for us all to sit at the table. With 8 adults a baby and dogs you could still find quiet places in the property. The bedrooms are well sized and with ample bathrooms. Two lounge with sky. The wifi is a little intermittent but didn't cause too many issues. The house was warm and welcoming with beautiful arrival basket. We booked for my parents wedding anniversary and the owners left flowers and a card for them which was a lovely touch. Would definitely go back.

Stay at Trencreek Farm 10-17 Aug 19 Overall the property, facilities and general standard were good. The location was idyllic. Below are my further comments •The issue with the broadband was frustrating and while the BT problem was fixed by Wed, we lost it again on the Friday afternoon. This problem created a number of concerns as in this modern world, we are increasingly forced to use the internet for a variety of communications - email, banking services etc. I also believe that the equipment (hub - dated 2017 and power cable had loose connection) needs to be upgraded. •My daughter had said from the first night that there was a continuous cracking noise at night in the L shaped bedroom where we had the cot for my grandson. We had noticed a couple of days later that the outside chimney above the bedroom appeared to have a wasps/hornet nest at its base where dozens of them congregated. I informed the owner in one of my texts. During the week the inside wall - where the chimney was located - a brown streak had appeared and more appeared: the room also had thick cobwebs that had not been cleared. •A minor but annoying fault was that the kitchen taps did not have aerators in the spouts so that water splashed everywhere when taps were turned on. •The dishwasher program selection kept freezing and the on/off selection would not operate in this scenario. We could not find the manual for the dishwasher however we did work out how to reset the electronics.
