You enter the annexe into the open plan living room which overlooks the pretty enclosed garden, a real sun trap and ideal for sitting out and dining al fresco after a day out. The double bedroom benefits from en suite facilities and a zip and link bed making up into two singles if required. Three miles away, St Austell offers a range of shops, restaurants, takeaways and pubs that you would expect from one of the largest towns in the County as well as a cinema and bowling offering an alternative night out. The world famous Eden project is literally a few minutes drive away but other 'must visits' include the award winning Lost gardens of Heligan and the villages of Charlestown and Mevagissey. With virtually all of Cornwall within an hours drive your touring options are endless making this the ideal base for exploring the County all year round.

Just a short drive from the south Cornish coast, St Austell is one of the largest towns in Cornwall. The landscape around St Austell is rich in kaolin and this once made the region extremely prosperous. Today, the china clay industry is in decline and tourism has become the mainstay of income for St Austell and its surrounding parishes. St Austell town centre is home to a range of independent and well-known shops, an undercover shopping centre and a Local Produce Market, which takes place every Friday and Saturday.
