Castaway Lodge is a contemporary lodge with country and sea glimpses to St Austell Bay, just inland for Fowey. Nestled in the beautiful grounds of Trenython Manor Hotel and Spa, families, friends and couples can enjoy both a restful and recreational break with onsite facilities including an indoor heated pool, Spa (charges apply for Spa treatments), hi-tech gym, a fine dining restaurant/bar and kitchen garden. The woodland adventure play area and indoor playroom will guarantee to keep the children happy whatever the weather. All on the ground floor, the lodge offers spacious and comfortable accommodation. The open plan living area is modern and bright, a good spot for socialising and relaxing. There are two bedrooms both with TVs and the twin with an ensuite, plus the family bathroom. Outside there is a decked area with garden furniture for sunshine dining and the communal grounds with lawn and paths. The glorious Cornish Riviera coastline has a bounty of beaches to explore within a short drive. Three miles away, Fowey is a perfectly picturesque haven favored by the yacht-set and host to Regatta Week and the Daphne du Maurier Festival. Excellent restaurants are aplenty and art galleries, boutiques and traditional inns are found dotted along the cobbled lanes and around the pretty harbour and estuary. Have a fun-packed pleasure boat trip, fishing excursion or ferry ride across to Polruan. Par Sands is popular with swimmers and families with its shallow waters at low tide and Readymoney Cove has a small sheltered sandy beach. Walkers will love a ramble around Castaway Lodge's countryside setting and the coastal footpath promises to deliver the most stunning sea views. Venture to the enigmatic ports of Charlestown and Mevagissey or visit the Lost Gardens of Heligan or famed Eden Project, with giant biomes showcasing fabulous flora from around the globe.
