Park alongside the cottage and access is up wooden steps which lead directly onto the decked patio from which there is a quiet space to relax. From the patio enter through French doors straight into the open plan living area where you will immediately feel at home with a comfy sofa in the sitting area and a woodburner, great for relaxing by on colder evenings. There is a well-equipped kitchen where you can prepare delicious meals to be enjoyed in the dining area. Warm and welcoming throughout, proceed through the glass doors (which can be left open if required) into the large double bedroom with further French doors which open out to the courtyard and old farm buildings below. Staying at this cosy cottage can be as relaxing or as active as you choose with the BF Adventure centre less than half a mile away, offering canoeing, kayaking, rock climbing, zip wire and many other activities from their stunning 60 acre site. Falmouths beaches are ideal for rockpooling, snorkelling or sailing and with miles of coastal paths to walk or boat trips to explore creekside villages and gardens, there is always something to see and do. There are also a profusion of cafes and restaurants in Falmouth, together with speciality food outlets. A stay at this romantic cottage is special at any time of year.
Falmouth, with its magnificent natural harbour (the third largest in the world), winding streets and beaches, will keep you occupied for hours. The town's old harbour-side pubs, excellent shopping, art gallery and stunning National Maritime Museum simply complete the picture. Pendennis Castle, built by Henry viii, is Falmouth's most popular attraction, sited on its own peninsula with superb panoramic sea views.
