    Sandy Ash is a cosy, detached property located in the village of Little Bampton near to Wigton, Cumbria. The property has been completely refurbished into a modern holiday home and is all located on the ground floor, ideal for those with limited mobility. It opens up into a spacious hallway leading into the living room with attractive red sofas, a rocking chair, flatscreen TV and an inglenook fireplace with a woodburner. A lovely place to sit and relax at the end of a tiring day sightseeing. This leads into the dining room with seating for up to six people, an electric stove and a large wooden piano for those musically talented guests. There are sliding doors which lead out into the garden area, with some magnificent views across the rolling countryside, there isn't a better place to dine. The kitchen is a spacious room with white fitted cabinets and stocked full of appliances to cater to your every need. From the kitchen is the conservatory with extra seating areas for some quiet moments, as well as extra appliances such as a washing machine. Down the hall, there are three lovely bedrooms, one king-size, one double and one twin, perfect to accommodate a group of friends and families. With top of the range wooden furniture, and desk lamps for late night reading. There is a large family bathroom with a choice of a bath and shower. Off-road parking is available at the property. Outside has a lawned garden and patio area with wonderful countryside views, perfect for sitting out during the summer months. Locally, this town has many nearby attractions. Why not visit Watchtree Nature Reserve with wildflower meadows, woodland & wetland habitats protected for the benefit of local wildlife? To view a stunning piece of architecture, venture towards Carlisle Cathedral, where you can enjoy a guided tour for one of Carlisle's best historical landmarks. Let's not forget Keswick Railway Path, which runs for three miles return and Hadrian's Wall national trail which is 6 miles away, both ideal for walks and cycle trips. Sandy Ash is the place to be for those who enjoy the secluded countryside.

    Wigton is a market town located in Cumbria, England.
    Fiddleback Farm, a Grade II* listed building and was used for supplying provisions and materials from "Old Carlisle" to Hadrian's Wall. The building was originally fortified to repel invading Celts. It later become a place of worship. Constructed in the shape of a fiddle, it was built about 300 years ago, along with two other buildings in the shape of musical instruments by a wealthy and eccentric land-owner. Today, Wigton is a thriving market town, with livestock auctions being held regularly at Hopes Auction Company.
