Edlaston is a hamlet just 3 miles from the market town of Ashbourne. Lying at the southern end of the Peak District, Ashbourne has a market place with stalls, narrow cobbled alleys, coaching inns and almshouses. For those who prefer outdoor pursuits, the Dove and Manifold Valleys are close by and Alton Towers is just 20 minutes away.

The cottage was perfect for dog owners due to the garden. Perhaps being able to access the property earlier would have made our stay better. At 4pm in the Winter months, the daylight is going and thereâs nothing to do apart from stay indoors.
