It has shared facilities with a floodlit all weather surface tennis court (equipment not provided), a small pool table and if desired, a catering service (arranged direct with the owner). This perfect location is on the edge of the tiny village of Somersal Herbert, approximately 9 miles south of the popular Derbyshire market town of Ashbourne and convenient for visiting The Potteries and Alton Towers, one of the largest theme parks in the country. Enjoy Derwent Crystal Factory at Shawcroft, the Antiques and Collectors Centre at Bakewell, the ’Heights of Abraham’ cable car rides and caves at Matlock Bath. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.
    All on ground floor: Living room with sofa bed and beams. Dining room/kitchen. Utility room. 4 bedrooms: 2 double, one with en-suite shower room with toilet. 2 twin, one with en-suite bathroom with toilet, one with additional pull-out single. Bathroom with shower over bath and toilet.

    "This is a big, spacious place. It was just right for what we needed. Comfortable but not precious, well-equipped and easy to live in. It's not particularly charming - it's very functional - but we didn't want anything too fussy so it worked just fine.If I was exploring the Peak District I might choose somewhere further north, but we needed to be close to Burton upon Trent so we needed to be in this location."
