Culverwells is set in a quiet and tranquil rural village of Dalwood in East Devon. This area is popular with walkers and has a variety of rambles possible from your own door. The property has been decorated and furnished in keeping its charming country style whilst also benefiting from a large modern kitchen and bathrooms. The wonderful sun room has two walls of bi fold doors which allow you to enjoy the spectacular views over the surrounding countryside. The Tucker's Arms in the village is a beautiful thatched old English pub with a cosy interior which serves fine ales and good food with a warm atmosphere. Culverwells is perfectly located for exploring the wonderful Jurassic coast with the popular seaside resorts of Lyme Regis perfect for fossil hunting, Beer, Seaton and Sidmouth just a short drive away. Guests interested in indulging in local produce will find an abundance in the area, the acclaimed Lyme Bay Winery is a short drive away and farms throughout the area provide cheese and meat, whilst the proximity to the coast ensures fresh seafood.

Beautiful large house with fabulous conservatory with dining table. Amazing countryside views and beautiful large dog friendly garden. Inside kitchen well stocked fabulous large fridge and cooker and stunning fireplace for cosy evenings. Snug lounge with TV. Snug room had fantastic fireplace. A really beautiful house in stunning countryside. Four bedrooms great for family stays. We had a wonderful time. We hope to return soon we will be rebooking. Stayed May 2018

Beautiful house with an amazing view. We stayed here for a week in August and loved the property. For us the rural location was perfect. The house was plenty big enough for our group (3 adults and 2 children). Our favourite part of the house was the dining room with its incredible views, also the abundance of toys for the children, especially the swing and trampoline in the garden. Stayed August 2017
