This small fishing village is situated on a wonderful stretch of the south Devon coastline, with slanted streets and a range of local amenities to suit your tastes. The Pecorama Gardens are well worth a visit; nestled on the hill overlooking Lyme Bay, they offer colourful garden rooms to explore, as well as the Beer Heights Light Railway and panoramic views of the Jurassic Coast. This designated World Heritage Site is a gentle walk through time, with beautiful cliffside, beaches and craggy headland boasting fossils and rock formation through the ages, all waiting to be discovered! Many days out can be shared together with walking and cycling in abundance, dog friendly beaches and public transport helping you get from A to B. Beer is situated on the stretch of Devon coastline, known as the Jurassic Coast, a designated World Heritage Site, and the village offers sloping streets lined with stone houses and cottages built on many different levels of the steep valley sides. There are shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs in Beer, plus just outside the village is the Pecorama Gardens, which are perched on the hill overlooking Lyme Bay. Pecorama boasts the Beer Heights Light Railway and indoor model railway exhibition, along with a childrens' play area.
