Hoemoor Farm is a working dairy/beef farm. Set in the quiet country lanes in the Blackdown Hills, which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The river Otter runs along the bottom of the farm’s fields where you are welcome to fish and walk. A variety of wildlife can be seen from the bungalow or whilst walking along the quiet country roads. The bungalow is fed by its own spring water supply. There are plenty of animals to see and touch if you would like to, from guinea pigs, parrots, a horse and of course cows and calves.
Honiton is the nearest town (10 minutes) it has an old fashioned charm, well known for its Antique shops, but do not miss the homemade ice creams. Larger towns of Exeter (30 minutes) and Taunton (15 minutes). The coast of Lyme Regis, Sidmouth (35 minutes), Minehead and Woolacombe are only an hour’s journey. The National Trust has many places to visit including Killerton House and gardens and Forde Abbey. If you want a family day out Crealy (30 minutes), The World of Country Life Museum, Peccorama and Woodlands are all within easy reach. There are plenty of footpaths and walks nearby like Royston Water (2 miles), which is the head of the river Otter, where there is also fishing. Fishing can be found at several locations nearby along with golf, horse riding and gliding.
The bungalow comfortably sleeps 4 people with a camp bed for a 5th, and has everything you should need for a relaxing stay in summer or winter, full central heating and a log fire. there is an enclosed for garden and plenty of fields to walk in.
