Bratton Mill Farmhouse is a charming former mill on the edge of Exmoor, dating back to the 17th century. The property has recently been redecorated throughout, yet retains it’s character and charm, we think you will feel at home as soon as you walk through the door!
Accommodation
The kitchen is well-equipped and includes an electric hob, Rayburn oven, American fridge freezer, dishwasher and microwave. Other kitchen equipment includes toaster, kettle, a selection of cookware and kitchen utensils plus beautiful china, glass and cutlery.
The television, DVD, and radio are all available for guests use, and wifi is also available throughout the property.
An iron, ironing board and hair dryer are all provided for your convenience.
Please note, there is no mobile phone reception due to the location of the property. Also, the stairs in the farmhouse are quite steep.
Electricity and heating costs are included in the price of your accommodation. The Farmhouse has central heating which will be programmed for you, yet can be adjusted to suit your preferences. There is also a wood-burning stove in the sitting room; some logs, kindling and matches will be provided in the cooler months to get you started. Further logs can be purchased locally if required.
Beautiful quality bed linen, duvets, large fluffy towels are provided for your convenience, but please bring your own outdoor/beach towels.
Tea, coffee and sugar will be provided. There may also be other non-perishable items like a salt, pepper and oil available.
Household sundries such as toilet rolls, washing-up liquid, tea towels will also be provided.

Spacious, well equipped, clean, cosy cottage. Beautiful surroundings. We were two families of four and the cottage more than met our needs, the lounge with the log burner was a favourite gathering space. Lovely walks from the front door. Stream running down the bottom of the garden (Would love to go back in the summer) Local village shop nearby but no pub. We experienced a power cut when there but Charlotte was quick to respond and the lovely housekeeper came to help and bring candles. (This was during the high winds!) Would highly recommend.

Fantastic property and a great place to hide away from the outside world, especially if you want a bit of a digital detox! The steep driveway was a bit of a surprise and made us a bit apprehensive about using it at night. Wonderfully equipped kitchen, although could do with some non-stick frying pan.... The surroundings of this cottage are absolutely beautiful! It was exactly what we wanted and was in a great location for us to see the very best of north Devon. It was spacious and private with loads of character. Charlotte was great to deal with and everything was extremely straightforward and very....
