    Excellent location with fantastic views. We were pleasantly surprised how easy it was getting to the beach from the apartment, and more importantly not too challenging for oldies (even the coming back bit) there are a couple of benches to sit on if needed. It would have been nice to have a pub within walking distance for the evening, but hay ho! The unspoilt location of saunton sands is breathtaking. Croyde is only a mile away (another lovely beach) and the thatch public house is well worth a visit, excellent food and drink, and dog friendly. Woolacombe is fairly nearby, and if you go there, take the time to visit Mortehoe , so quaint. If you need to find a convenience store (near apartment), head towards braunton by car, and look out for the pixie dell convenience store on the left. All in all a lovely stay, weather was fantastic for October (very, very, lucky) beds we very comfortable, en-suite shower was a tad small but did the job. You don’t need to take a hairdryer or an iron, as these are provided, which is handy. All in all a pleasant stay.

    The parking at the accommodation is very tight and there is only one space allocated to the apartment which has a hedge blocking the number making it impossible to locate, this means the visitors spaces have to be used which are limited and on a first come first served bases. On the surface the property looked clean but we found sweet packets under the twin beds, dust on the skirting boards and the hand rail in the staircase and the toilets needed attention. We had to hovered the sofas as there was sand and dog hair between the cushions. We also found the outside lights an issue at night as the blackout blinds have been fitted on the outside of the window which caused the lights to shine around the edges. With COVID being as it is we expected it to be at a good clean standard as our check in time was delayed till 5pm. We did not expect to start cleaning it ourselves after a 6hr journey. The entrance was clean and the overall property was nice including the grounds.

    Absolutely amazing views from this holiday apartment. And dog friendly  everything you need well stocked very clean only thing i found a pain was shower was really really small im disabled and found this a problem. But apart from that 5☆☆☆☆☆
