The light and airy three-bedroom holiday home is beautifully furnished throughout in a calming, cool palette that gives it a relaxed and oceanic feel. The kitchen itself is well equipped for meal prep offering comfortable seating for four guests. Upstairs, on the first floor you will find the gorgeous wooden-floored living room is a relaxed affair with a wood burner, TV, and a large bay window. Next door is the first of three bedrooms, a double with a doorway out into a patio garden. This room has an en-suite bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC. On the second floor are a further two restful bedrooms, a king-size and a double. The main bathroom contains a large corner shower and WC. This property comes with one parking permit which is valid at the nearby Mayors Avenue car park. Parking is subject to availability.
Dartmouth is a popular holiday resort in South Devon popular for its harbour and bucolic position on the River Dart. It is full of narrow streets which are bursting with enticing restaurants and friendly pubs as well as gift shops galore. You can enjoy lots of waterborne activities in Dartmouth such as fishing, kayaking, canoeing, and more. Local attractions in Dartmouth include walks around the harbour and a trip along the river on Dartmouth Ferry. Also, consider a wander around Dartmouth Castle (1.5 miles) which offers lots of cool photo opportunities. In the wider area, you could enjoy day trips to Brixham (5.5 miles), Totnes (14 miles), Blackpool Sands (4 miles), and Slapton Sands (7.5 miles). We really loved staying at 1 North Ford Road with lots of light all day. The kitchen could do with additional equipment (baking trays and other utensils), but was very workable and had sharp knives which is a rarity for rentals! Excellent location in the town and a sun-trap front space to enjoy (gated to keep the dog in). I would definitely book again and recommend to friends.

The cottage was absolutely stunning. So much so that we had to check that it was actually dog friendly because it was immaculate. Even though the weather was atrocious the cottage was warm and cosy, and you couldn't wish for a better location.

1 Northford Road is a superb well equipped house in a perfect location near Market Square. Tastefully decorated and furnished to a high standard with everything co-ordinated. Beds comfortable and everything spotless. We had a problem with the tv in sitting room but this was rectified within a couple of hours by an extremely helpful member of the Blue River office team. Thank you. There are quite a few steps up to the property so perhaps maybe difficult for someone with mobility issues. Also when we stayed the path from the gate to front door was extremely slippery and had to be accessed with great care. To end on a positive this is a great house and we hope to return again next year. Thank you Blue River.
