Audrey's Cottage is one of our lovely cottages in Dorset, located in the quiet and picturesque Dorset coastal village of Langton Herring. The village is situated in a unique part of South West Dorset, ideal for many pursuits including walking the South West coastal footpaths or observing the fauna and flora at the nearby Fleet Lagoon (the largest natural inlet of sea water in England) which is a haven for wildlife. At the heart of the village, The Elm Tree Inn provides local ale and food, has a beer garden and is pet friendly. A short drive to the east is the popular resort of Weymouth which has a renowned long and sandy beach, numerous good restaurants and fine shopping facilities. To the west is Abbotsbury, one of the quaintest villages in England and home to the famous Swannery - the only place in the world where you may walk through a colony of nesting mute swans. Further along the dramatic coast road is Burton Bradstock, another beautiful village where many guests enjoy the acclaimed Hive Beach Cafe or gastro pubs. A little further to the west is the historic Georgian market town of Bridport, with a twice weekly street market and home to Britain's oldest family run business, Balson's Butchers established in 1515. Visiting the county town of Dorchester is an ideal day out as it has a great combination of shopping, historical and visitor attractions. Pet friendly cottage Audrey's is great if you would like to take your pet on holiday too as it welcomes two pets and has an enclosed rear garden with patio and lawn, a super spot to while away a lazy summer afternoon. Audrey's Cottage benefits from three bath / shower rooms so is perfect for three couples or a family; a log burner in both lounges will keep guests cosy in winter.

Accommodation:Entrance hall:Door to: Lounge with log burning stove (one basket of logs provided from 1st October - 31st March) through to Dining Room. Kitchen. Second lounge again with log burning stove. Bathroom, bath with shower over, hand basin and toilet. 1st Floor: Bedroom 1, king size double bed, ensuite shower, hand basin and toilet. Bedroom 2, double bed, ensuite shower, hand basin and toilet. Bedroom 3, twin single beds. Rear garden with patio, six steps to a lawned area which is on a slope.

Garden furniture. Off road parking at the front of the cottage for two cars plus unrestricted parking in the lane. Linen and towels are provided, please state requirements when booking.Please note: As Audrey's is an old cottage some of the floors are slightly uneven and outside is the patio area with stone wall and steps to the lawned area (0.8m drop from lawn to patio). As such the property may not be suitable for people with mobility issues and young children / toddlers.
