You can get as active as you like at Maple House as it benefits from full access to an onsite Activity Hub’s facility (subject to prior booking and availability) included in the cost of the accommodation giving you free access to bikes, canoes, kayaks and stand up paddle boards during your stay.

When you have exhausted all that is available on site then the surrounding Dorset area has much to offer. The County town of Dorchester is around 9 miles away with many historic attractions and a busy high street shopping centre, Weymouth has a long golden sandy beach and shallow waters is around 14 miles away. The National Sailing academy is on Portland where you can try your hand at more water sports or watch the thrilling kite surfers command the harbour.

This beautiful home would suit a large active family, two families or group of friends who want to enjoy all the outdoors has to offer.

Warmwell derives it’s name from a well of tepid water, and played a key part in world war II with RAF airfield used by the RAF If you want to continue on a theme of military history then why not explore the Tank Museum at Bovington just 8 miles away. Monkey World rescue is also an interesting day out and just around the corner from the Tank Museum. Should you be craving the sight and sounds of the sea then you are also ideally placed, with Lulworth Cove and Durdle just 8 miles away to the East and Weymouth and it’s golden sands and shallow water just 8 miles to the west. You will find many local café’s and restaurants in both these locations where you can sample local fish and award-winning produce. Be sure to enjoy an ice cream on the seafront.
