"We love the location of this property as it gives a great base for exploring the local area. The property itself must one of the best we have had the pleasure to stay in. It is maintained to a very high standard and very spacious. We are reluctant to tell too many people about the place in fear of not being able to book a place ourselves in the future."

"Tick Tock Cottage is of a very high specification, kept to a very high standard of cleanliness plus full use of the owners garden whose property is next to the cottage. The cottage has all the facilities one would wish for including a cot for the very young and a balcony to sit out on. This lovely area of County Durham has plenty to do, see and explore; from hillwalking up in Weardale to a visit to Durham City itself. The owners made me very welcome. I had a lovely week exploring the area and the cottage is well worth a visit. Would like to visit again in the future as I could not fit everything I wanted to do into my weeks stay."
