The advert for the property is spot on and the secure car parking is really handy. We stayed the week but primarily used the flat for bringing our grand daughter to South College University, which is just down the road from the flat to Howlands Park & Ride car park. The car park is handy to drop off the car and pay £2.00 to use the bus network into Durham centre. Nigel, the property owner, met us on arrival for a 'meet and greet' and showed us around the flat and amenities. We would definitely consider staying at this location again if visiting the university, or for a holiday, as the area has much to offer. Many thanks to all.

Clean and warm - plenty of space. Pub and shop very close and access to public transport really easy - we went into Durham for the day easily, and into Newcastle on the bus for our last day so didnât need to drive everywhere. Durham beautiful, Beamish fantastic and Teesdale(High Force) fabulous. Great location

The only minor thing we found that was missing was coasters to put hot drinks on. Most holiday let's usually have a information pack giving details of places to visit, local pubs and places to eat and local walks etc, there was no information at all. But would definitely stay here again and recommend.
