"Lovely cottage, very warm welcome and such beautiful views! The garden is a delight. My daughter loved her "own" sitting room! We did not travel very far, but had a much needed break. Thankyou for a great time."
    Alan – 3 Oct 2018
"We were met at the cottage by the most lovely genuine couple to show us around and explain a few bits. The history and how this cottage was made is absolutely lovely. The cottage was just like the photo's with added extras. It was wonderfully clean and got everything we needed, it had been really thought out to make it like it. Truly wonderful. There was nothing better than getting up and sitting at the dining table eating breakfast looking at the view out of the window. The only negatives was this is situated down a lane with pot holes and higher middle, but if you go slow down it you'll be fine. And you have to park the car not outside the cottage, but just a little way away, not far though. It's worth it though to stay here, as there is nothing the other side of the road only views, and a walk if you're interested. We did have a small problem with the main settee's in the room, we didn't find them very comfortable, but nobody else seems to have mentioned it, so maybe it was just us. There is another room you could use also so don't let my comment put you off as this cottage is lovely, I just had to mention it, as we had the small issue. There is a birdfeeder in the garden and we did see a woodpecker. There was mentions in the visitors book that people had seen deer."

"Our second stay.Very comfortable with fantastic views. Would love to go back again sometime. That perfect balance of being out of the way, but not too far form amenities"
    Ginny – 26 Jun 2018
"A great cottage, extremely well equipped and with plenty of room. Wonderful view from the front of the property. The only drawback was the rough track from the road."
    Richard – 29 May 2018
"All in all, a superb location for the view (when the weather allowed). The owners could not have been more friendly or helpful. As were most of the local people we met."
    Lyndsay – 7 May 2018
"Myself and 3 friends stayed for 3 nights during Badminton horse trials. Absolutely lovely house, Mr & Mrs Webb met us on arrival and nothing was too much trouble. We had a fantastic time with super weather and would love to stay again"
    Sandra – 21 Apr 2018
"This cottage is perfect - our only reservation about the location was the lane / track leading to it. This was very rough and the potholes seemed to get bigger and deeper as the week went on. There is also no parking at the door which meant we had to collect the car each morning from further down the track. However - once inside this is a fabulous cottage with the best bathroom we have ever had!"
    Dan – 24 Mar 2018
"Great stay at S79600, property has been newly refurbished and has everything you would require for your stay provided. The owners were extremely helpful and friendly. Would strongly recommend."
    Mairead – 5 Mar 2018
"We had a great stay at S79600, visiting family in the area. The house is lovely - beautifully decorated, great kitchen and bathrooms, plenty of room and lovely views. It’s very peaceful and quiet but a short drive or 10/15 mins walk into town. We enjoyed the log burners - very cozy. Comfy beds too. Thanks for a great stay, we hope to be back!"
    Gillian – 28 Feb 2018
"An absolutely gorgeous house; warm, comfortable and equipped with everything you could need. Lovely view across the valley and a pleasant walk right from the front door. The terraced garden was beautifully kept and we were even able to sit out in the February sunshine, sheltered from the wind in the 'secret garden'. Mike and Annie were there to welcome us when we arrived and the lovely welcome pack was very much appreciated. A great base for touring the area, within easy driving distance of Bath, Cheltenham and Lacock which is well worth a visit. A lovely house with lovely owners - we would definitely stay here again next time we visit the area."
    Tim – 8 Jan 2018
"Excellent newly refurbish property where the owners couldn't do enough for their guests"
    Chris – 7 Jan 2018
"Tin was a wonderful stay during Christmas. The host was wonderful! She was extremely helpful and the cottage looked so festive.I wouldn’t recommend this cottage to anyone and look forward to staying here again in the the future."
