    GUY – 5 Dec 2018
"Superb place for a quiet escape - we went to get a book written, and got a lot done. No mobile coverage, good wifi, nice comfortable space, very friendly but unobtrusive landlord in Keith, and some great walks around the peninsula when we needed a break - the views along the Severn are fantastic. Two warnings - check what evenings the Red Lion is actually serving food if you're planning to eat there (although the beer was excellent!), and the village shop basically sells nothing but milk - so take absolutely everything you need with you, or be prepared to drive."
    James – 18 Nov 2018
"Ideal retreat in a peaceful location for rest and recuperation. If you want to stop the world and get off for a while, this is the place. Excellant pub within 20 minute walk. Nearest shop in next village. Very comfortable accomodation."
    David – 2 Sep 2018
"A warm welcome from the owner and cake waiting on the worktop by the kettle - a lovely way to start a long weekend. Everything that we could reasonably need was provided and the peaceful location really was a delight. There is plenty to see and do nearby including some lovely walks and fascinating local history."
    Caroline – 22 Jul 2018
"Enjoyed our week, S16316 was a comfortable and relaxing place to stay."
    TRACEY – 6 Jul 2018
"We had a very pleasant stay at the Tallent. It was clean and comfortable. Ideal location for visiting the area. The local pub was welcoming and served good food. Could have done with more combat able sofas for relaxing in the evening. Welcome pack was a bit disappointing with just milk, a piece of cake and a couple of teabags, would of been nice to have some local produce as we have had at other cottages. But overall a lovely place to stay."
    Sandy – 26 May 2018
"Excellent property. Easy access to all main locations. No village shop though, but the next village down Frampton On Severn, lovely little shop.Good pub for food in the village. Fish restaurant, good, but a bit pricey.Lovely walks around the village. Good place to sit by the river is Saul Junction and it also has a good coffee/ food cafe.Property not recommended for disable people, main sitting area is upstairs . Perfect in other ways though."
    Andrew – 14 May 2018
"S16316 is set in a small hamlet surrounded by working farms. It feels beautifully cut-off yet Gloucester is within easy reach and some of the lovely Cotswolds villages also. There's a decent nearby pub and various others in the vicinity, but of varying quality.Walking is easy with 4 well marked trails around Arlingham and loads of opportunities further afield. The cottage itself is functional, clean and with all the requisite facilities. The downstairs, where the bedroom and shower are located, is a little dark and upstairs is lighter. We felt we really needed to get out to eat, rather than eat in, although if the weather had been warmer in the evening, we may have eaten outside.Overall, it is a good choice for complete unplugging and a simple break, immersed in nature."
    Jane – 12 May 2018
"Ideal hideaway. Everything you need for a cosy relaxing break. Definitely going back. Only thing to take into account is the local pub doesn't serve food on Monday and stops serving food at 6pm on Sunday."
    Trevor – 17 Feb 2018
"A wonderful stay in a beautiful cottage. We arrived to delicious home made cake and very clean and attractive accommodation. Everything we needed was there and a good nights sleep was guaranteed in the comfy, cosy bed. Local pub splendid! Wonderful walks nearby. Who could want for more! Thanks for a lovely break!"
    David – 17 Jan 2018
"We really enjoyed our short break at S16316. The cottage is very well equipped with everything you will need and full of character.Arlingham is a very quiet village with the nearest local amenities in Frampton-on-Severn a few miles away. The Red Lion is a short walk up the lane and is community owned freehouse pub with a friendly welcome, excellent beer & wine and great food. Well worth a visit, we ate there three times! We found plenty to do in the area with easy walks along the banks of the Severn and the nearby canal network. There are plenty of Cotswold villages nearby if you want to venture further afield, we did.The friendly owners live on-site and apart from a brief introduction we didn't see them although we knew they were nearby if we needed help. Perfect hosts. We have no hesitation in recommending S16316, you won't be disappointed."
