Mrs Panter – 1 Apr 2017
"We would thoroughly recommend this cottage. The cottage was a converted old dairy building on a working farm. The owners lived on site and were more than helpful and friendly, even showing our children around the farm and the animals. The cottage came equipped with everything you could possibly need and more and was spacious and clean. Great value for money."
Mrs Howarth – 1 Mar 2017
"This is an excellent property for exploring this wonderful part of the country. Sadly we were in the area for a funeral, but we were still able to spend some time looking about. The property boasts a great facility, if you need to leave dogs - our two would probably not have been welcome at the funeral. Peter and Mary, who run the farm, are excellent hosts and their local knowledge is extremely helpful to strangers."
Mr Caddy – 1 Feb 2017
"Very clean and well equipped proprty. We stayed during a cold snap in February and heating was more than adequate. Very good pub/restaurant and shop nearby."
Gabriel G
"Had a really nice family break; the location is lovely and plenty to do in the local area; will definitely be coming back next year."
Ms Williams
"Lovely accommodation, excellent facilities, helpful people, location just right with walks nearby and garden for dogs, easy access to local facilities, and a Christmas tree.... we all had a great time."
Mr Hallam
"Great location especially those who like horses, lovely clean cottage, access to garden & BBQ, be careful of the beams in the bedrooms!"
Mr John Bayliss, ,
"A lovely cottage, our girls really enjoyed staying on the farm surrounded by horses and all the beautiful countryside."
Mrs Sara Bennington Flair, Brighton,
"The cottage was spacious and lovely and quite. I just loved the "farmhouse feeling" in the kitchen, where we could all eat together, at the table, as a family. Would love to come back again."
Mrs Sara Bennington Flair, Brighton,
"It was lovely and quiet, we loved the space of the cottage and the two stairs going up to the bedrooms at each end of the cottage. I just loved the "farmhouse feeling" in the kitchen, where we could all eat together, at the table, as a family. Would love to come back again."
Mrs Jennifer Barnes, Radstock, Somerset
"Lovely clean holiday cottage, very quiet and just what we all needed! The owners are very friendly without being intrusive, we all enjoyed a very relaxing week away. "
Mrs Karen Angel, Norwich, Norfolk
"It was nice and warm in the cottage which was good as the weather wasn't great. The sofa was comfy as was the bed."
Mr Tim Hawkins, St. Albans, Hertfordshire

Miss Heather Constance, Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire
"Very friendly owners and a spacious property. The WiFi connection was good and it was a perfect location for us as we have family in local villages. Our son loved seeing the new born calves."
Mrs Georgina Spencer, Maidstone,
"We loved the size of the cottage, it has a large dining table which fitted all my visiting family around for dinner. The beds were comfortable, and there was plenty of storage. I loved seeing the horses every day. The facilities were great, with plenty of towels provided. We cant wait to go back."

"We had great service from the owners, who live opposite the cottage, and were very flexible on our arrival time, the property was lovely and clean, with sheets and blankets supplied, plenty of towels for all of us, (and there was 4 adults and 2 small children), fast WiFi connection this was handy as the mobile phone signal was a little bit "hit and miss", having said that, this was entirely out of the owners control. i have to say that it was a very relaxed atmosphere, just carry on and do as you please, if we needed anything just slip across to the main house and ask, nothing was to much trouble. The 2 bedrooms had plenty of storage space, along with an upstairs toilet, you did have to watch out for the low beams, but that just goes with the territory!. Plenty of room to park vehicles, with a large lawned garden opposite fitted with lights, so no problem walking our 2 dogs there in the late evening, there is a large shed to the side of the property, just in case anyone with a dog would need to leave it there during the day for any reason, its more of an open barn, very open, but also very secure, so any dog would have plenty of room, this barn has a large gas BBQ that's available to use during your stay, with no shortage of gas supplied. Lots of Horse activity, but this isn't of any inconvenience, very informative conversations with some of the Horse owners, my grandson particularly liked a small horse called Scrumpy! Good location for all surrounding areas, and only 8 miles from the Welsh boarder, so a fantastic base for walking the Black Mountains and a visit to the Skirrid Inn, the local pub is probably a 15 minute walk, but not the best roads to walk along, as one section is quite busy. All of the usual large supermarkets are no more than a 10 minute drive, there's also one of those fast food takeaways starting with Mc, near the shopping area. What we liked the best! all of it! What i liked the least, some WD 40 could have been put on the doors & locks, to stop the creaking in the middle of the night, and save me having the rest of the family shouting at me!!. A Great place you wouldn't be disappointed."

"not having a recent review I was a little sceptical, on arrival that soon changed. A fantastic tucked away cottage with all what you could ask for & just as described. its on a stud farm, but isn't really that noisy, gone are the chickens & dogs these days so if that would worry you don't let it. The garden is adjacent, well kept, there is a dog run in a barn next door if you wish to use it, even with a bed & bowl! low beams in bedroom, but you soon get used to that, plenty of room, great shower room & large kitchen. Even the bus stop is in walking distance of a mile should you want to use it. A perfect base to explore & great hosts that leave you in peace! Thanks Mary & Pete for an enjoyable stay"
Mr Alan Mann, Chatswood, New South Wales
"A good location and peaceful environment. It was handy to Hereford but not too close. Great walking country."
Mrs Thomas, Pontypridd, Rhondda Cynon Taff
"We had a lovely weekend. The cottage was very comfortable and provided an excellent base for exploring the area. Our dog loved the garden and the space it provided for him to run around. Owners very friendly but by no means intrusive."
Mrs Ledger, Maidstone, Kent
"The cottage was extremely clean and comfortable with a good sized, attractive garden. Amenities provided were all we could want. Quiet location in a lovely part of the countryside, but not far from towns and attractions."

"Comfortable, spacious well-equipped cottage. Very friendly, pleasant owners. Relaxed atmosphere. Garden is separate from the cottage, which is not so convenient for dog owners, but great to be able to walk dogs in the fields. Best feature is the comfortably equipped barn next to the cottage where dogs can be left in the day, with the owners keeping an eye on them, enabling you to go out without them."

"This property was once the Dairy on the owners farm, it has now been converted into spacious holiday accomodation. The kitchen was very large with everything provided, and the bathroom was also a very generous size. The bedrooms were very attractive with beams across the rooms, so watch your head! Set a short distance from Hereford this property was in an ideal location for touring this attractive county, and its only a short distance from the Welsh border. The owners were very welcoming and helpful, and we have no hesitation in recommending this property."
