Set in the heart of Pooley Bridge Holiday Park with everything you'll need on your doorstep, the contemporary Redwood Lodge overlooks the stunning Lake Ullswater. Redwood Lodge sleeps up to four people and has room for an additional cot at a small extra fee. It boasts contemporary yet comfortable decor with characterful accents and a striking modern balcony or terrace that overlooks the area. On the ground floor, you are met by the modern layout of an open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area. Tasteful decor and furnishing create a cosy area for the whole family to relax and catch up in, whilst the TV and DVD player provides escape from a busy day outside. The kitchen is well equipped for meal times and picnic preparation with an oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave all to hand. A twin bedroom with en-suite shower room and WC makes a great hideout for kids, giving them quick access to the TV and terrace, as well as glorious views of the surrounding area. In addition to this, a cloakroom provides essential outerwear storage. Upstairs, the Master double bedroom features a balcony that provides a scenic view of the lake, giving parents the chance to unwind and enjoy the romance of Lake Ullswater. A family bathroom is also located on the first floor featuring a bath, separate shower cubicle, hand basin and WC. Redwood Lodge has a roomy terrace on the ground floor that offers striking views of the lake and surrounding area. Garden furniture is provided. Set on the edge of Lake Ullswater, Pooley Bridge Holiday Park has everything you could need for a holiday to the Lakes. Bar and restaurant is open weekends from Easter to Whit then fully open every day until September. Weekends only during October. During the summer season entertainment is laid on with children's discos, live entertainment, licensed bar and beer garden, during the summer school holidays a children's club is operated and there is a restaurant with take away service available. Two children's playgrounds, tennis courts, pool tables and amusements offer extra activity without having to drive further afield, whilst on-site lake access and boat launching, mountain hire and pony trekking to Barton Fell offer new sights and surroundings. Seasonal entertainment includes children's discos and live entertainment. The charming village of Pooley Bridge is just one mile from the holiday park, with quaint shops and a traditional inn offering hot food. For dining and shopping, there are plenty of traditional villages alongside Lake Ullswater shoreline, whilst a short drive over Kirkstone Pass will take you into Ambleside, Rydal, Grasmere and Windermere. Here, you can visit Rydal Mount and Gardens, Dove Cottage or Blackwell arts and crafts house. Redwood Lodge is located in an ideal place to explore both sides of Lake Ullswater and Windermere, providing everything needed to have fun without travelling afar.

Pooley Bridge is only 1 mile away with a traditional village inn, cafe and shops. The surrounding area is home to numerous quaint Lakeland villages scattered along the shores of Lake Ullswater and Aira Force is a dramatic waterfall cascading into the lake below. Sharrow Bay Hotel is only a short drive away for the ultimate in dining and is renowned the world over or a trip over Kirkstone Pass brings you into Ambleside where there is an abundance of shops, pubs and restaurants. The historic market town of Penrith is within 5 miles and has numerous shops, a heated indoor swimming pool, golf course and driving range.
