    "Had a lovely weekend at this property, which is ideally placed in the centre of Ambleside. We parked up on Friday and didn’t need our cars again until we went home on the Monday. The house is well equipped and was lovely and clean. Single bedroom was a bit cramped but we didn’t need to use this room so not a problem for us. Lots of places to eat in Ambleside and enjoyed a nice trip across Windermere to Bowness as well."

    "Lovely house and perfect base in centre of Ambleside for exploring the Lake District. Only downside is that road noise at the front of the house was greater than expected. This was probably made worse by the very high temperatures when we stayed and the need to have all windows open in the evening and at night"

    "What a fantastic place to stay! We were blown away with this property and the garden. Large well presented rooms gave us plenty of room to share this house. Good communication from the owner before we arrived who even let us know it would be available earlier than the set arrival time. The parking area is a real bonus in Ambleside. The house is in a great location for being in the town, with plenty of restaurants, pubs and shops to hand. The bus stop is just up the road too. I would definitely stay at S71955 again."
