    Located on the second floor in an apartment complex, S89134 offers exceptionally comfortable, family-sized accommodation. Lovingly renovated by the owner’s, no expense has been spared to ensure that this apartment offers contemporary comforts that you may need or expect from a self-catering property in the Lake District National Park. Unlike many of the apartments within this development, S89134 is very spacious. The entrance hall opens onto a well-equipped kitchen with all of the necessary appliances you need to cook up a feast for the senses. There are three comfortable bedrooms in this fantastic apartment, one of which has a Freeview TV. The cosy living/dining room has a 40" Freeview TV mounted on the wall, along with an electric fire, dining table and French doors leading onto the small balcony with outdoor furniture.
    Set back from the main road that runs through Bowness-on-Windermere, S89134 enjoys a quiet residential location which is conveniently close to all of the town’s amenities. There is also allocated parking which means that you don’t have to worry about town centre traffic and parking charges. There is a short cut next to the apartment which will take you into the town centre, where you will find an excellent selection of bars, cafés, restaurants, takeaways, pubs and shops. Bowness-on-Windermere is also home to a traditional cinema and the World of Beatrix Potter attraction, which is very popular with families. Other family friendly places to visit include the South Lakes Safari Zoo, Lakeland Aquarium, Motor Museum and the Lakeside and Haverthwaite Steam Railway. Lake Windermere is just a 10-minute walk away and from here you can either hire a boat or take a ride on one of the old Victorian steamers. The surrounding fells offer lots of great walking opportunities, making it the perfect base for families who like to keep active. Grizedale Forest also makes for a great day out with plenty of trails, mountain biking and the Go Ape Treetop Adventure. Other popular Lakeland towns within easy driving distance include Windermere, Ambleside, Kendal, Hawkshead, Cartmel and Ulverston.     "The apartment and location were fine. The only problem was the comfort of the sofas obviously seen better days, and the double bed, again seen better days the mattress really needs to be replaced as it sags in the middle. And for taller people like me and most couples these days a King Size bed would be the norm. Considering the price being charged."

    "This was a lovely place that can comfortably house 6 adults. The flat was clean and excellently presented with all relevant requiremts fulfilled - from towels, bed linen, washer drier to even salt and pepper ! My 3 young children really liked the games and books. They describe it as being “big”, with a “great outdoor balcony” “TV in bedroom” and being 11 out of 10. Only constructive criticism would be that the management company need to upkeep the surroundings better e.g steps leading up to the flat need to be cleaned"

    "We stayed at S89134 at Easter with our children and my parents. It’s a very comfortable apartment and has everything you would need for a short break. The location is ideal, very central, with two great shortcuts to the center. It was perfect for my elderly parents who don’t tend to walk far these days. We come to the lakes every year and thoroughly enjoyed our stay this time."

Wasn’t impressed with the lack of keys, on arrival, even though I had phoned Cumbrian Cottages twice to arrange.Just really grateful that the out of hours guy came to get them for us. Really pleased that a toy my daughter had left was sent on and back with my daughter before she even missed it. So thank you."
