    Annabel – 8 May 2018
"The cottage was warm, cosy and comfortable. We enjoyed the quirkiness of an older building and appreciated the pristine bedding and the quality of the of the bed linen. There were lovely views from the house and there were many places of interest to visit nearby."
    Victoria – 12 Feb 2018
"I was disappointed to discover that towels, bed linen and electricity had to be paid for in addition to the rent. This masked a rather higher than I wanted to pay rent. The cottage is beautiful but very cold. The storage heaters didn't keep the place warm all evening and we used a lot of electricity running the fan heaters to keep warm. The Aga, though beautiful, was not very hot and we were unable to use it for cooking so had to use the electric cooker, again putting our bill up. Hot water was also a problem. With such a big cottage it needs a better solution as getting everyone bathed/showed took a long time as we were waiting for the emersion heater. Perhaps it would be a better option in summer than in winter."
