This was our first visit to the North Norfolk and The Hermitage is a lovely, spacious cottage located in the village of Brancaster, a convenient location for exploring the villages and towns along the coast. The property was spotlessly clean on arrival, with a lovely walled garden and warm Aga. Although we didnt get an opportunity to sample the local village pub, we did eat at the Jolly Sailor and Lifeboat Inn in the neighbouring villages (within 10 mins drive), both of which do lovely food and are dog friendly. We particularly liked our visits to West Runton, for fossil hunting, and Wells next the sea with its fab beach. The train ride from Wells to Walsingham was also a great day out. We will be definitely be visiting the area and can thoroughly recommend the Hermitage.

Fantastic cottage in great location, plenty of space for 4 adults, 3 children and the dog. 3 good sized bathrooms with good showers. Would recommend this property and hope to return again soon.
