Quietly nestled in Northumberland's historic hot-spot, Watergate Cottage in Bamburgh is a gorgeous cottage sleeping four guests and welcoming two dogs.
A stone's throw from the centre of Bamburgh village, Watergate Cottage is not just perfectly positioned, it's also a stylish, comfortable retreat that gives you those home-from-home comforts as well as having all the aspects of a cosy country cottage.
Put your feet up in front of the wood-burning stove or saunter down to The Potted Lobster to enjoy award-winning, locally caught seafood, before enjoying a pint of local ale in one of the three pubs. Enjoy the sunset over the village, illuminating Bamburgh Castle at the foot of the village, giving it's traditional red rock a mythical glow.
Watergate Cottage is perfect for couples, young families or friends holidaying together. Two dogs are very welcome here, and they'll be spoiled with the beach just down the road. 1 infant is very welcome too and the property has free, unlimited Wi-Fi.

We enjoyed a lovely few days exploring Bamburgh and in particular Budle Bay which is a really beautiful location with fabulous views of Holy Island. A wide open space which was perfect for our energetic pointer, to enjoy chasing the ball. We enjoyed a drink in The Lord Crewe in Bamburgh. We found the cottage to be well equipped and close to the centre and all we wanted to be near too.

We have loved our week in Bamburgh. Watergate Cottage has been a perfect base for us. Thank you for the lovely welcome pack and arranging fantastic weather. Long morning walks on the beach with the dog have been a refreshing start to the days. We have explored in both direction sand made it to Ross Sands too. Cycling has been fab too! Thank you for a wonderful stay!
