Holidaymakers only.. This delightful cottage has seen considerable renovation work in 2019, combining modern fittings with original features to provide a cosy and well-equipped holiday home. Situated in a rural position and adjoining the owners’ property, it is just 1½ miles from the attractive, ancient, market town of Appleby-in-Westmorland, in the beautiful Eden Valley.
The property is a very quiet adult only retreat for up to 3 adults. It is centrally located in a peaceful position in the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales National Parks, and has a pretty outlook. It is also close to the Scottish Borders and Hadrian’s Wall. Excellent walking, cycling, golf and fishing are all available nearby. Shop, pub and restaurant 1½ miles.

A Fabulous stay at this lovely cosy cottage. It was spotlesly clean, very warm and cosy with a beautiful log fire and the host left everything you could posibly need to make your stay comfortable. They provided towels, hand wash, washing up liquid, dish washer tablets, a doggy basket filled with treats and blankets, dog bowls, poo bags etc and a tray with tea, coffee pods, sugar, biscuits etc and it was all very much appreciated. Sally was a fabulous host and went out of her way to speak to us and introduce us to the gorgeous horses. This cottage was well worth the money and we would definitely recommend it. It was only 5 min drive into Appleby where we went for a great pub lunch to the Crown and Cushion Inn (recommended by Sally) and the food was amazing. We loved the log burner and logs and fire lighters were provided to get us going. The smart TV was great to log into Netflix for cosy nights in around the fire. ThankYou for a wonderful stay
