The surrounding Lune Valley provides excellent walking opportunities, with scenic riverside paths and rolling hills right on the doorstep. The cottage is also well placed for discovering two of England’s most celebrated landscapes – the Yorkshire Dales National Park (which borders the town) and the Lake District National Park (11 miles). After a day of exploring, return to Kirkby Lonsdale to enjoy a meal in one of its welcoming pubs or restaurants before settling back into the comfort of your cottage.
