This lovely cottage is a delightful conversion of a former barn and is situated in the village of Nether Langwith, just five miles from Bolsover, Derbyshire. From the delights of the cottage to the charming garden, this is ideal couples who wish to spend time together exploring this part of the country. This charming cottage offers an abundance of character and comfort and the beams are testament to its great age and the first floor has them in abundance! The king-size bed is perfectly placed for watching the stars at night. There is also an open plan living area with a well-equipped kitchen and dining area, together with a sitting area which has a woodburner, in case the evenings turn a little colder. The hot tub is the cottage's secret and the adjoining summerhouse is the perfect place to relax in peaceful surroundings or catch up with your favourite television programme on a comfortable sofa. For something different, the cottage also has 3D television and Sky TV. The garden has a super gazebo under which lies a table and chairs, just the ticket for outdoor living and dining, although the local pub with its roaring fire serves excellent home-cooked food. If you can bear to leave the cottage the location is excellent for exploring. Nether Langwith is a picturesque village on the border between Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire and just 9 miles east of Chesterfield and the delights of The Peak District just beyond. Bolsover has a fairy tale castle with such spectacular views across Derbyshire to inspire your imagination. The small town has some very interesting architectural features and is worthy of a visit. Sherwood Forest is a must-see and was once a Royal Hunting Forest but nowadays its 450 acres is brimming with activities, events, wildlife and flora and fauna. It is a magical place for everyone.

Bolsover is a Derbyshire town with a history dating back to the Domesday Book. It is home to a wide range of shops, restaurants and bars as well as a number of parks and play areas. The town is best known as being home to Bolsover Castle which is managed by English Heritage. The castle has a fairytale quality to it as it sits on a hill top overlooking the surrounding countryside. Dating from the 17th century, the castle is now home to magnificent paintings, extensive gardens and a Discovery Centre.
