Overlooking the beautiful Hope Valley in the Peak District National Park these two charming self catering cottages feature an indoor heated swimming pool and spectacular views. The cottages are located 12 miles west of Sheffield and are on the outskirts of the pretty village of Hope. Both cottages are stone built and are to be found next to an 18th century farmhouse with magnificent views over the Hope Valley and across to Castleton with its famous caverns and historic castle.
There is an indoor heated swimming pool which is solely for the use of guests. If both cottages are booked together then guests will have private use of the swimming pool.
Dogs are allowed at a charge of £20 per dog max 2 dogs allowed.
Both cottages offer a high standard of comfort. They are centrally heated with all bed linen and towels provided. Also included is a fridge freezer, free satellite television, video and DVD players, microwave oven and electric cooker.
The cottages share a utility room with a washing machine, tumble drier and additional freezer space plus a outside toilet.
The area abounds with wonderful walks and sightseeing opportunities include Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Buxton Spa and the Blue John Caverns in nearby Castleton.
ASH and BIRCH COTTAGES sleep up to 8 guests in each cottage and can be let individually or together via a normally locked interconnecting door on the top floor. This door can be opened to link the two together to accommodate 16 people in 8 bedrooms. Both cottages have the same layout.
On the ground floor is a small open plan lounge with Freesat TV, a dining area for 8 people and a kitchen area. On the first floor there is a double bedroom, a twin bedroom, a bathroom with WC, basin and bath with fitted shower over the bath. On the second floor is another double room and a twin bedroom with an airing cupboard. (Birch Cottage has one double bed with a child's single bed above which allows it to sleep up to 9 guests.)
The shared Utility Room has a tumble drier, washing machine, and additional freezer space for Ash and Birch cottages. This can also be used as a storage and drying area for boots and wellies.
Both cottages feature a large decking area to the rear leading onto a lawned area.
Travel cots and high chairs are available on request.
Hen and Stag parties are welcome.
No dogs or other pets.
