About this property

The Lookout is a modern light-filled apartment situated in the newly developed 'Coastal Quarter' between Plymouth Hoe and Royal William Yard. The perfect position from which to enjoy Plymouth's main attractions, including the Theatre Royal.

The spacious open-plan living, kitchen and dining area is perfect for socialising with family and friends, and affords views across the rooftops to the sea with the ferries and boats coming and going. Look out for the captain on board through the telescope. Slide open the door from the living room and you step out onto the large, south-facing balcony, where there is plenty of seating to relax with croissants for breakfast or a glass of wine in the evening.

Within easy walking distance of the town centre and Plymouth Hoe, you have everything you need on your doorstep.  Enjoy strolling along the seafront (part of the South West Coast path) overlooking Plymouth Sound or venture down to the historic Barbican and on to Sutton Harbour, home to the National Marine Aquarium, and a vibrant harbour area bursting with cafes, restaurants and bars.

The Lookout is also within easy reach of Royal William Yard, a stunning and busy waterside location with spectacular coastal views and more wonderful restaurants.  Or take the nearby Cremyll passenger ferry, one of Plymouth’s hidden gems, and discover the beach and some beautiful walks in Mount Edgcumbe Country Park.

With secure parking in the basement, getting out and about to explore Plymouth’s beautiful surrounding countryside and coastline couldn’t be easier.

...there have been other properties built around this so it no longer looks over the sea. Submitted by Paul on 08/12/2016

...Cremyll ferry where we walked the coast path and it's an easy drive up on to Dartmoor. Royal William Yard is a 10 min walk and is great for coffee, lunch or dinner. I definitely recommend the flat but if you're booking currently be aware that there is building work on site and we had our car blocked in on most days and spent time trying to find the owner so that we could get out of the car park. Parking aside I would use the flat again when visiting Plymouth. Submitted by Anthony on 18/04/2015

...apartment was just as it looks in the photographs on the website, really lovely. We could see right over the sea as it is on the top floor and there is a telescope so when the ferry comes in you can see the people on it. The British Fireworks Championships were on whilst we were staying (we didn't know until we got there so that was very lucky). We went to the harbour to watch them the first night but watched them from the apartment the second night and actually got a better view. It was a quite a walk, about 20-30 minutes to town or the Barbican to resturants/bars and the apartment is in an industrial estate which is why we marked it down a bit for location. The fan in the bathroom didn't work and the bed in the master bedroom was really had other than that couldn't fault the accommodation. Submitted by Gail on 20/08/2014
