Situated in the small hamlet of Newcastle, just 3 miles west of Clun, this delightful, detached property is in an ideal location for exploring the Shropshire countryside and neighbouring Herefordshire and Powys. With the Shropshire Way and Offa’s Dyke running nearby, there are some breathtaking walks to be had. Within a quarter of a mile you will find a lovely country pub which offers local beers and wonderful evening meals.
Located within easy driving distance of the charming town of Ludlow, with its individual shops, delis, restaurants, year round festivals and race course. Nearby attractions include the Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre, National Trusts Cardingmill Valley, Stokesay Castle, Land of Lost Content Museum, Acton Scott working farm and so much more.
Herefordshire is home to the National Trust property Berrington Hall, a cathedral and Mappa Mundi. Nearby Powys is a stunning county with lots of small market towns, canal networks, Llanfair Light Railway and the National Trust Powys Castle. Shop 3½ miles, pub and restaurant 300 yards.

"Lovely cosy house, with all mod cons and in beautiful surroundings. Owners friendly and greet you with a welcome pack and information on local places of interest to visit. Ideal location if you enjoy amazing scenery & a getaway from busy city life. Fantastic sites are close by, great walks & castles to explore. We had days of exploring followed by evenings relaxing in the house, where all your needs are catered for. Highly recommend."

"Lovely barn conversion self catering cottage. Everything was spotless and the owners were very pleasant and helpful. Nice nearby pub in the village for a meal out. Not far from Ludlow but a bit of a drive to Bridgenorth and Ironbridge. The accommodation had everything we needed and then some. Highly recommended."

"Lovely quiet location, excellent for walking and cycling trails. No light pollution, so on a clear night you can really star gaze. This is a remote location in a small village with no shops, only one pub (The Crown) but we loved the fact that it was out of the way and it was perfect for us (two adults). Hosts were very welcoming and provided us with a welcome pack of milk, eggs, bread and a bottle of wine, as well as a host of leaflets about the surrounding area. Every local person we came into contact with was really friendly and helpful. We had a long weekend stay here and found it to be very restful. Would go again and not hesitate to recommend."

"We had a lovely welcome and stay at S80440, accommodation is excellent, the barn has been converted to a high standard and the kitchen is well equipped. The little touches like the flowers and welcome gift of wine, bread, milk and eggs were greatly appreciated. The village is very quiet, no shops, but there is a pub if you want to eat out, and a pop up cafe on Wednesday’s. There are also plenty of coffee shops and pubs in the surrounding villages.The owners are very friendly and knowledgable of the area, suggesting places to visit and where to shop."

"A beautiful barn conversion, stylishly decorated and well equipped. Our hosts were welcoming and helpful. Fresh bread, eggs, butter, milk and a bottle of wine were a lovely touch. The property is isolated and there are no shops in the immediate area and so this was very useful. The views from the property are beautiful and the peace and quiet is just what we needed. The only thing I can fault is the shower which is irratic in its supply of hot water. We will be back I am sure"

"It was a lovely location, ideal if you want to stay somewhere quiet. The owners were very friendly and informative. The accommodation was spotless and well equipped.
