Christine – 2 Nov 2018
"Had a nice quiet relaxing stay at the Summerhouse. Brillient garden for the dogs to run around in. We would definately return."
Nadine – 28 Sep 2018
"A beautiful quiet area. The Summerhouse was well equipped and cosy but is looking a little tired. Unfortunately it was not very clean, with tea stained cups and lots of dust and dog hairs on the floor which we hoovered up and had to clean the basin in the bathroom before using it. However the bed linen and towels were all very well laundered."
Barbara – 21 Dec 2017
"Excellent cottage, warm and comfortable. Well equipped with plenty of space. Friendly owners and locals."
Caroline – 17 Nov 2017

Norland – 3 Nov 2017
"Perfect. Didn't want to leave. Can't wait to go again."
Deirdre – 15 Sep 2017
"We have been coming to this property for over three years, love it but there are issues. The over trays were red rusty, a real health hazard, we left them out and pointed out they need replacing. The single mattresses need replacing, you can feel the springs and putting a mattress topper under the bottom sheet just does not work!Apart from those matters it is a lovely warm, well equipped property. The owners and family are delightful, very friendly and welcoming."

"Was a little concerned when we first arrived as there was no mention of the steps up to the door but my mother could just about manage them. Owners were friendly and helpful. The views were stunning"
Neil – 25 Aug 2017
"We really enjoyed our stay here, S16758 is in a nice location overlooking farmland and is situated within it's own grounds away from the owners farm, so is very peaceful and relaxing. The accommodation is very good; clean, nicely furnished and spacious, with large mature gardens on all sides (the site is on a slope so may not be suitable for everyone)."
Philip – 26 May 2017
"A most enjoyable holiday in the countryside."
Paul – 21 Apr 2017
"Very nice, Had everything you would need. A great view to marvel at and in a goo location to explore from. We made it through the Welsh mountains to Portmeirion. We'll look to come back."
Ann – 14 Apr 2017

"We have been visiting S16758 for years now (I think this was our 6th time) love it here more than anywhere! ❤ Owned by a lovely family. I couldn't recommend it more. We have already booked our next visit xx"

"We had a comfortable stay at S16758, it was warm and cosyish. A couple of down sides.first time we have never had even a pint of milk left as a welcome on our arrival. The garden although secluded was not secure , several times our dogs were let out and we found them wandering down the lane, must have got under the gate? One day we were relaxing and lounging around and we were disturb by window cleaner's spraying water etc,the dogs went mad, it was very awkward as it could have been more embarrassing for us. We felt this could gave been left until the arrival /departure day, instead of disturbing us in the middle of the day."
Paul
"Lovely cottage with a great garden and views. Very friendly, relaxed and genuine owner with a lovely family. There is a knack to opening the door which was fine once we conquered it."
Deirdre
"Our fifth time at this cottage, will not be the last. Very comfortable, well equipped, clean accommodation. Very friendly owners and locals, full of information about the area."
Adrian
"Lovely cottage, shame about pub closure. Nice walking area lovely garden."
Geraldine

"Beautiful place, beautiful area."
Deirdre
"Very comfortable and clean property, dog friendly and very well equipped."
Margaret
"A lovely place to spend time relaxing and getting 'away from it all'. The wood burner meant that it was nice and cosy in the evenings. Very pleasant views from the living area. A clean and comfortable accommodation. We will definitely try to visit again. A little tricky to find when it is dark, however the fact that it is so well 'tucked away' means that you feel like you have left the 'rat race' behind."

"Had a great week and the weather helped, disipointed that the local pub was closed as this was one of the reasons for booking. Write up for House should reflect this. A sharp knife would have been a good idea as we struggled to cut bread with the one supplied."
Harmonie
"Lovely summerhouse , excellent wifi , good range of kitchen utensils , appliances etc ... Fantastic views and lovely wood burner :)"
Charlie
"Lovely time - wonderful"
Steve
"We arrived Christmas Eve and the cottage was very welcoming with a Christmas Tree and cosy lighting, we felt at home right away. There was a bottle of wine and some stollen to welcome us. The owner is very helpful and welcoming."
Nick
"We stayed for two weeks in the Summer and went back for an Autumn break. We would consider going back next year but prices are up about 15% for the same period in the Summer which is hard to justify and 8% in the Autumn. I just hope the increase is going to the owner who is a decent fellow, something that is reflected in S16758 and all that surrounds it."
Steve
"Excellent situation and a warm welcome, ideal centre for touring Shropshire."
Peter
"The location and views were fantastic but as it had been given a gold award via reevoo we were expecting a bit more quality. The overall cleanliness of he property could have been better, with windows that needed cleaning and surfaces that needed dusting. The beds we found uncomfortable and could have done with new mattresses. The whole place would benefit from a coat of paint and some general maintenance. Not what we expected from a gold reward property and the price we paid."
Deirdre
"First class accommodation, spotlessly clean, very friendly and helpful owner and family. Very dog friendly, area well worth visiting"
Sharron
"Great place, a relaxing holiday cottage in a great location!"
Charles
"Beautiful location, very peaceful, all you could want. Cottage was exceptional. I only have one suggestion which is a handrail would be useful for the steps leading from the patio door to the decking area as we had my father with us who found getting up and down a bit difficult. Would definitely recommend the Summerhouse and intend to book again next year."
Yvonne
"Lovely peaceful location. Very secluded and private."
Nigel
"We had a wonderful time at S16758. The cottage grounds are dog friendly and we went on some wonderful walks. The cottage has all the equipment you require.(The lack of Wifi is an issue , hope the village gets broadband soon!)"
Suzy
"The Summerhouse was a little piece of heaven in beautiful surroundings. Peace, tranquillity, well designed private gardens with undisturbed views of the rolling hills, the Mogg Forest woodland half a mile away (Iron Age fort on the top) and west-facing fields around Wenlock Edge so a lovely spot to spend time in throughout the day, if one chose. Stunning evening skies with the lovely sheep gallivanting around in front of the chalet, even a black rabbit with the wild ones nibbling close by! There were lots of birds, including buzzards, finches, wrens, song thrushes and blackbirds, so anyone keen on wildlife in general would find this ideal. The Summerhouse had everything inside which one could need, sadly in June the woodstove wasn't needed, but that I'm sure would have made it very cosy for the cooler months. Everything possible was thought of to make the stay for guests comfortable, it really was 'home from home' and with the addition of delicious pure water straight from the spring. The interior and exterior were so imaginative and tasteful, it was certainly a place to linger and a shame the week went so quickly - it would be the perfect retreat for artists and writers as there was nothing except nature and wildlife to detract. The owners were very friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble, even a beautiful vase of wild flowers from the farmhouse gardens to greet us on our arrival. A big thank you to all concerned."
Nick
"I could write reams about the how much we enjoyed S16758 but suffice to say that it is generously equipped and we lacked for nothing. Stunning views, peaceful location and perfect for our anxious dog. We were left to ourselves apart from the first day when we were told that there was sheep shearing going on all all day next to S16758, and apologies given for the noise. We were invited to go and watch."
Marion
"Had a great time lovely place and the dogs enjoyed it to would defiantly go there again everything was spotless and very comfortable"
alison
"lovely place to stay, well designed and equipped, perfect for dogs and people, great view, good walks close by, wonderful birds."
Angela
"Lovely idyllic cottage. Peace and quiet in bucket loads! Every need catered for.Lovely cottage, lovely views, good location for views, walks, scenery etc. You will need a car to get to other locations nearby, ie NT properties, canals etc, but lots to do from your cottage (ie. hiking, bird watching, dog walking). Great garden for kids and dogs.(No wifi, but you're in the heart of the countryside - good to have a break from it!)"
Nicola
"Lovely place beautifully designed and run, very clean, quiet area with great views and well placed for walks and attractions. The owner was very helpful when we couldn't work the tv!"
Julie
"S16758 is in an excellent location, well placed for travelling around the Shropshire hills and beyond. The area is peaceful and the garden is private and ideal for dogs. There are lovely views from the window and plenty of wildlife in the garden and surrounding fields. The owner is friendly and helpful and the cottage is well equipped."
Susie
"We love this place so much! The most beautiful place in the world, have been 4 times and plan on going again next year. Stunning views, lovely people and beautiful summer house. "
Deirdre
"Cottage is a real haven (or heaven!) Everything you could wish for on a holiday. The problem is, giving it such a good review people are going to book when we want to go!! "
Felicity
"Tranquil stay in a beautiful setting"
julie
"We had a wonderful time at S16758. Our little dog had a grest time in the beautiful garden. A peaceful and relaxing place to unwind."
Jason
"We enjoyed our stay immensely, it was very well equipped and blissfully quiet. The enclosed garden suited our black labrador down to a tee and he was in doggy heaven sniffing around the lanes and fields located on Haydens farm. We only met Hayden on the last day which was a shame as he seems a lovely fellow and very welcoming. You will need a pair of binoculars to take full advantage of viewing the array of birds and wildlife. We would go back again any day."

"Without doubt the best cottage we have stayed in for many years, excellently equipped and with plenty to do around without travelling too far. We will certainly be staying again. March 2012. "
