    Deborah – 6 Jan 2019
"Fabulous (remote and peaceful) location with beautiful views. Very high standard of decor, warm and comfortable. The grand dining room was an extra benefit. We would return."
    Cat – 3 Jan 2019
"We stayed for Christmas and it was just beautiful. Stunning scenery, a gorgeous cottage and fully equipped with everything we needed. The play area outside was fantastic to keep the little ones busy and so close we could have sat on the balcony to watch them play had they been a little bit older. The owners were very friendly and welcoming, could t have asked for any more!"
    Joan – 30 Sep 2018

    Brian – 20 Sep 2018
"This cottage has an extraordinarily remote location, accessed from any direction by over 4 miles of (very) single track roads. This is both the best and worst aspect of Bequila as a holiday base. The good part is that you feel as though you are in another world... an intensely rural setting of dark skies and the sounds of nature.. with a wonderful view from the lounge across rolling countryside dominated by the Clee hills. The Lawley, Cardoc and the Bowdlers are on the doorstep. The bad part is that every trip out by car begins and ends with 15-20 minutes of mildly stressful progress along those single track roads with passing places sometimes few and far between, never sure when you will meet another car or tractor. My phone's fitness app credited me with several daily "bike rides" - I at no point used a bike, but the phone assumed that as I was driving so slowly that I must be on a bike! But the roads and the other-worldly getaway are flip sides of the same coin. We loved it. The cottage itself was clean, comfortable and characterful. Even though it only accommodates four (1 double, 2 singles), it boasts a dining room in the style of a mini-baronial great hall which could easily accommodate a dinner party for 12!The only substantive negative for me personally (with a very bad back) was that the beds were a tad soft. Did not bother my companions, but resulted in me sleeping on the floor. There was space to do this in even the smallest bedrooms. The hot water supply is a tad tenuous: but all this means is that while you can have a good shower, run a bath and operate the dishwasher, you can only do one at a time. Again, this probably reflects the lovely off-grid nature of the location. Absolutely no problems with power, heat or internet. Recommended."

"Bequia is fine along with the nearby house that is also for rental. Beds were all comfy and a good nights sleep was had by all. It is well out of the way so drivers that can,t reverse down narrow country lanes can give it a miss, would def go again though"
    Sandra – 19 Aug 2018
"Amazing scenery in a beautiful location - just be aware of the narrow approach roads! Cottage fitted out to a very high standard -modern but sensitive to original character of the building. Ideal location for exploring Shropshire towns and countryside."
    Ruth – 4 Aug 2018
"Lovely rural location with fantastic views of the Shropshire hills. It was ideally located for visiting tourist attractions such as Long Mynd, Church Stretton, Caer Caradoc, Stiperstones and Shrewsbury. The cottage was well-equipped and comfortable and the owners were friendly and helpful. It was excellent value for money, and I would highly recommend it."
    Mark – 20 Jun 2018
"A delightful cottage on a lovely farm. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend a stay at this beautiful cottage."
    Pauline – 25 May 2018
"We chose the area of Shropshire as we have family and wanted to visit various places. If I had a one criticism the cottage needed a big television."
