The area is home to numerous walks, rambling trails and cycle routes whilst many of Shropshire's main attractions are within easy driving distance of the village itself. Visitors can enjoy Church Stretton - known to the Victorians as Little Switzerland - with its antique shops and tea-rooms, in the midst of the beautiful Long Mynd Hills and close to the Acton Scott Historic Working Farm and the Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre. The World Heritage Site at Ironbridge, Attingham Park, the market towns of Much Wenlock, Shrewsbury and Ludlow are all within easy reach, leaving visitors to the area spoiled for choice.

The property was clean and comfortable and ideally situated in a very quiet rural location. Excellent heating system, which we actually had to turn down!

My daughter said it was the nicest cake she'd ever had! The property was bigger than I was expecting, lots of room for just the 3 of us and lots of outdoor space too, with the added bonus of the hot tub. The property was spotless and had everything we needed. It was great location for a Shropshire base, we visited Shrewsbury, Ludlow, Iron Bridge and Oswestry...all beautiful places. I would definately recommned staying here to anyone.

Welcome pack was was great didnât realise how isolated it was .The roads could be scary very narrow and bendy was glad I didnât have to drive .
