About this property

Set over three floors, Number Five is a delightful character cottage that has been fully refurbished to accommodate four adults in two double bedrooms and two children in a children’s bedroom with bunk beds. Nestled down a quiet no-through road far from any street lighting or main roads, Number Five offers a peaceful family retreat away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

The village of Cardington is a quintessential English village centred around its 12th Century church and adjacent pub, The Royal Oak, which lays claim to being one of the oldest pubs in Shropshire, dating back to the 1650s and mentioned in the Domesday Book. Cardington is perfectly placed for exploring this beautiful Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. There are miles of country walks through woodland and over the rolling hills of South Shropshire, home to an abundance of bird and wildlife. The attractive market towns of Church Stretton and Much Wenlock are close by and offer a variety of shops, pubs and restaurants.
