Swim in the indoor pool*, complete with adjacent coffee shop, or drift away fishing* in the lake before sampling the delicious local produce hosted at weekends by the fantastic restaurant.
Paradise for walkers and cyclists, the Shropshire Way winds through the park, affording wonderful walks from the doorstep. Meanwhile, ancient Shrewsbury bursts with shops, pubs, restaurants and cafés, and historic Ironbridge, numerous stately homes and mid-Wales are all easily accessible. *Charges apply.

This lodge was stunning, very big and spacious. The bed in the big bedroom was very comfortable and the bath in the middle of the room was lush. My only moan about this lodge was that my partner and myself felt that even though you have the two balconies upstairs it was be nice if there was an extra outdoor seating/eating area downstairs. Overall we had the most relaxing and peaceful four night stay and will recommend to friends/ family and will return ourselves in the future.
