Teggs Farm is a transformed outbuilding set on a former farmyard, resting within the quaint village of Halfway House. This cottage is the perfect base for a family getaway for exploring all that the Welsh Borders and Shropshire has to offer, decorated with a beautiful décor complete with modern finishes. Upon entering the property, you are greeted to a warm hallway, a perfect spot for kicking off your muddy wellies and coats before stepping into a well-appointed kitchen. Following this is a contemporary, open-plan sitting room with dining area, boasting comfortable sofas in front of a wall-mounted TV. Within this ground floor property, you will also discover two elegant bedrooms, comprising of a king-size double and a twin bedroom, with zip/link beds that can be made into a double on request. Completing the property is a spacious family bathroom, boasting a walk-in shower, basin and WC. Outside you can make use of a shared garden area, as well as off-road parking. From the cottage, you are a mere stone’s throw away from the Windmill Inn pub and the local shop, both taking just a 15-minute walk. To keep you busy whilst staying at the cottage you can visit Powis Castle, a National Trust property boasting breath-taking gardens, a perfect destination for a day’s trip with the family, taking just 20-minutes to drive from the cottage. Alternatively, you and your family tackle a part of the Offa's Dyke National Trail, where you will find routes suitable for all levels of walking, from leisurely strolls to countryside rambles, ending with a deserved drink in the local pub. Shrewsbury town is situated just nine miles away, where you can enjoy the Tudor-style centre, filled with shops, cafes and restaurants, as well as points of interest including Shrewsbury Castle, Shrewsbury Abbey and The Quarry. Teggs farm is a guaranteed relaxing family holiday to a delightful area.

Halfway House is a small village, situated on the Shropshire/Welsh Borderlands, only a short drive away from the border town of Welshpool. From here you will be able to trek Offa's Dyke, visit Powis Castle and its famous gardens, as well as exploring the Welsh coast and the towns of Shrewsbury, Llangollen and Chester, where you will find a good selection of activities and amenities.
