Little Marshfoot is ideal for a relaxing break for couples at any time of the year; with its south facing covered Loggia that captures the morning sun you can relax ‘al fresco’ even on sunny days in the cooler months, or else retreat indoors for an uninterrupted view across the garden to the fields beyond through the French Windows that open out onto the Loggia and Patio.

Originally constructed as an Eco-Lodge, with awards for its innovative approaches to ‘green’ hospitality, this fully centrally heated luxurious apartment has been pleasingly and tastefully refurbished to reflect contemporary preferences whilst offering a comfortable and calm ambience in which to relax whatever the weather outside.

The cosy double bedded room has a TV and looks out on to the gardens, whilst the en suite shower room in a high gloss cool glacier colour, together with the clever use of lighting gives a sumptuous and elegant feel. Luxuriate under the strong power shower in the spacious shower cubicle.

The kitchen/diner has seating for 4/6 looking out onto the garden, it is fully equipped with an electric Bosch hob and oven, a dishwasher, fridge/freezer and washer/dryer. The raspberry glass splashback sparkles in the sunlight during the day and lighting has been designed to give the same effect at night.

After dining (even al fresco at night in the summer) you can relax with a DVD or TV programme in the cosy living room, or even catch up with e-mails using the free super fast broadband. Alternatively in the warmer months of the year you can sit out on the Loggia and watch and listen for visiting wildlife. Over the years we have been delighted to watch badgers and foxes forage in the garden at night. Careful planting has ensured that the garden supports a range of butterflies and moths and is visited all year round by numerous species of birds.

We also have a Sofa Bed which can be used for that unexpected extra guest for a small extra charge to cover laundry etc.

Whilst Little Marshfoot is ideal for adults, we are sorry but Little Marshfoot is not suitable for children (unless babes in arms) and we do not take pets as we have a number of resident cats.

Whether it is a romantic break for two, a weekend escape from City Life, or a trip to explore East Sussex, Little Marshfoot is an ideal retreat - secluded and quiet, yet only a short drive from the South Downs National Park, Beachy Head and Birling Gap, or the towns of Eastbourne and Lewes.

Set in farmland on the edge of the Pevensey Levels near the ancient town of Hailsham yet only seven miles from the sea, Little Marshfoot is within easy distance of the historic towns of Eastbourne, Lewes, Brighton, Hastings & Tunbridge Wells. London is only 1.5 hours away by train.
