Take a short stroll to the pretty Town Quay and enjoy the hustle and bustle of the local fisherman landing their catches and watching the boats moving along the river. It is possible to take a boat trip from here into The Solent. The local station is also within a few minutes’ walk from where you can catch a train to Lymington Pier for the ferry to Yarmouth, Isle of Wight or Brockenhurst for the New Forest and further afield.
There are plenty of local attractions within an easy drive that can be visited from Lymington including Beaulieu Motor Museum, the villages within the New Forest, south coast beaches at Milford on Sea and Bournemouth.
