The Old Post Office is located in the heart of Keyhaven with stunning views across to Keyhaven River, Hurst Castle and The Isle Of Wight. You're in the heart of The New Forest so do enjoy all that Lymington and the surrounding areas have to offer! Curious families will be hard pushed to choose where to wander first; the blue boat yard, the lane to crabbing and beaches, the village with good foodie options. Hurst Spit, which is 10 minutes walk from the house has a pebbly beach or if you want a bigger sandy beach then go 10 minutes drive away to Highcliffe on Sea. Biking, walking and especially kayaking are superb here.
The Old Post Office is family friendly but please be aware there isn't a play room and if it is rainy, the downstairs will feel small if you have 8 people here. The courtyard garden has is a good size, fairly wind-free in summer, and split level. Bedrooms 1 queen, 1 double, 1 twin and a bunk room downstairs. 2 bathrooms, 1 with shower. 1 with shower room downstairs. All bedrooms are suitable for a travel cot. We provide 1 travel cot, 1 high chair and stair gate on request.
The access to the cottage is flat and there are a few small steps in the little courtyard garden. There is parking for two cars directly beside the cottage.
The house is square and stout. Just as a reliable institution such as the Post Office likes to be considered. It is a landmark in the tiny village. The owners have been very clever with the recent renovation and people who love their seaside delivered with panache will love it here.
