The cottage is very peaceful and quiet.

We had an extended family holiday with grandma and 2 teenagers (19 and 15); the house was large enough for everyone to have their own space with really comfortable and spacious areas for getting together as well. Jo met us on arrival and her quick intro to the Aga made cooking very easy for the rest of the week. Unexpected bonuses were the milk in the fridge, a lovely welcome cake and an outdoor table tennis table. Everywhere was about 15 to 30 mins away making day trips and activities very accessible. The Mill felt like home immediately and we all had a wonderful stay.

It was very spacious for the five of us and we felt at home straightaway. It has been beautifully refurbished but still contains many original features and has very comfortable and characterful furnishings. It was spotlessly clean. The garden and millpond setting is a delight. It is tucked away down a no through road, so is very quiet, but still within easy reach (by car) of pubs, beaches and places to visit. Tim and Jo made us very welcome and gave us some great tips about things to do and places to see. We all had a fantastic week.
