It is a quiet rural spot with just a couple of farmhouses down the valley, but it is only 8 miles to the city of Canterbury. There are beautiful walks and footpaths to choose from that lead directly from the property and the garden has a decking area and patio for sitting and enjoying the sunsets.

We really enjoyed our week staying in this lovely cottage in such a quiet and peaceful spot. Thanks, Scarlett, for the great welcome and recommendations. We enjoyed exploring the different elements of Kent from the coastal towns of Deal and Folkestone, to the beautiful villages and also the castles at Bodiam and Hever. Loved the farm shops that Scarlett recommended - Juliets and Gibsons. Lucy loved feeding the chickens at Juliets! Walmer Castle was a great day out and we loved our trip on the Kent and Sussex Steam Train to Bodiam Castle. Thank you for a great stay and lots of memories as a family.

Finally ..... due to Covid we had to reschedule 2 times but the 3rd time we were ever so lucky to stay in this wonderful cottage. We had a fantastic stay and enjoyed the daily changing view of the valley. Thank you for the very warm welcome!
