Located on the Gitcombe Estate, sitting amongst a terrace of five pretty stone built cottages, Haytor Cottage offers sleek and stylish open-plan living, and is the perfect holiday home for up to six guests. On arrival, and up a small flight of steps to the entrance, you will find a bright open-plan living space which includes a sitting area with a comfortable sofa and armchairs, a dining area, and a well-equipped kitchen. The bright and sociable day space is ideal for enjoying time together, creating memories, cooking tasty meals and relaxing in front of the wood burning stove.

Stairs lead down to the ground floor where the three restful bedrooms can be found, and there is a useful, integral stair gate fitted at the top of the stairs. Bedroom one has a super-king size bed with space for a cot if required, and doors lead out to a small patio. There is an en-suite shower room, with WC, small hand basin and heated towel rail. Bedroom two is a smaller bedroom with twin beds, and bedroom three is a twin bunk room with L-shaped cabin beds, suitable for under 12's only. The family bathroom has a bath with overhead shower, WC, hand basin and heated towel rail.

Enjoy sunny days on the enclosed roof terrace which can be accessed from the dining/sitting room, where you will find the picnic bench which is perfect for enjoying alfresco dining, firing up the Weber barbecue, and taking in the exceptional views which surround the properties.

This 14 acre estate really does have something for everyone, whether you are looking to relax and unwind, swim, cycle or play tennis, or venture out and explore the beautiful Gitcombe Estate and beyond. A stay at Gitcombe Retreat includes use of numerous shared facilities, including a hand-carved children's playground, indoor soft play area, full-size tennis court, indoor and outdoor heated swimming pool, hot tub, sauna and steam room. There are opportunities for days out to nearby popular Dartmouth, and the River Dart, as well as the glorious South Devon Coast with its numerous beaches and attractions.
