Quaint Chelsworth Cottage sleeping up to 4 guests

S126416 is a charming cottage nestled in the heart of the Suffolk countryside. Recently renovated but keeping it's tradition charm this is the perfect cottage for any couple, family or friends looking to enjoy Suffolk.

An utterly romantic holiday cottage in the very depths of the Suffolk countryside - S126416 is a beautiful retreat for couples, families and friends. Fully refurbished to an exceptional standard, thanks to careful local craftsmen, this self-contained annexe takes the west wing of the owner's property, The Grange. With private access, the cottage is utterly charming. Dating back to 1600, you can expect bundles of chocolate box charm from this cottage on the very edge of the Suffolk Wool Towns. Beautiful beams rise from floor to ceiling, whilst hand-crafted mellow brick flooring hides cosy underfloor heating. Mullion windows offer guests breathtaking views of the immediate surroundings, including the village church, fields and woodlands.

A wonderful retreat year round, S126416 sits amongst 10 acres which guests are welcome to explore. The River Brett cuts a path around the perimeter and holidaymakers can have access to almost all of its' flowing path by a small rowing boat on prior arrangement with the owners. Fishermen amongst you may like to try their luck in the River Brett from the nearby Church Meadow or 'Middle Field'. For keen cyclists, the owners kindly also provide a selection of bikes to borrow should you wish to leave the car at home and explore the delightful country lanes on two wheels rather than four. Cosy and warm in the winter; relax in the comfortable sitting room with a book, yet wonderfully refreshing in summertime; the fully enclosed terrace wraps around the side of the cottage and can be accessed by a door in the living area.

Young and old will love holidays at S126416. Within walking distance of the village pub, yet within a short drive of Lavenham, Long Melford, Monks Eleigh and Sudbury - there is plenty to explore. Parents of young children may also find comfort from the connecting door between the two bedrooms, which can be unbolted and opened if required.

So for your next holiday getaway, whatever the weather, you'll be sure of a memorable stay at S126416. Pub: less than 3 minute walk, Shop: 1 mile.
