Evesham is a pretty market town situated within the Vale of Evesham, within driving distance of Worcester, Cheltenham and Stratford-upon-Avon. Steeped in history and mentioned in the Domesday Book, Evesham has a number of beautiful black and white timbered buildings, namely the 15th century merchants house in the Market Square, and the remains of Evesham Abbey are believed to date back to the 8th century. Also, the area offers many lovely walks with Shakespeares Avon Way, Wychavon Way and The Heart of England Way all close by.
